This Privacy Policy describes how PickySprout ("PickySprout," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit pickysprout.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read the Site. We collect information in the following limited ways:

• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the Site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free and does not use any client-side state (such as local storage) to track visitors, and does not track individuals across websites over time.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical information for security and performance purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We do not access these logs to identify individual visitors.
• Contact. If you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that email (e.g. your email address and message contents). We use this only to respond to you.

Cookies and advertising

PickySprout displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

For visitors in the UK and European Economic Area, AdSense's built-in consent management platform ("Privacy & messaging") asks for your permission before showing personalized ads, in line with GDPR and UK data protection law. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through that same prompt. Visitors outside those regions may see non-personalized ads without a consent prompt, but can still opt out of personalized advertising generally via Google'sAds Settings, or by visitingwww.aboutads.info(US) oryouronlinechoices.eu(EU).

Affiliate links

Some posts contain affiliate links, including links to Amazon and other retailers. Clicking these links may set a tracking cookie on the retailer's own site so they can attribute a resulting purchase to us; we do not receive any personal information from this process. Third-party services

PickySprout is hosted on Cloudflare and uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Google AdSense (advertising), Amazon Associates, and select niche gardening affiliate programs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing — for example under the GDPR (EU/UK), PIPEDA (Canada), the Australian Privacy Act, or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA. Because we collect very little personal information directly (see above), most such requests will simply confirm we hold nothing to give, correct, or delete beyond what's described here. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
